Masqueraaaade, paper faces on paraaaade!
what y'all know about that? haha.
for those who don't; it's from "Phantom of the Opera".
I was watching old school BH 90210 today, and they were at a black & white party and some of the people had masquerade masks and it looks like so much fun! have any of you ever been to one? i seriously think i'm gonna look into finding one in the area. am i lame? lol.
just looks like fun.
i'd make my own mask-hot pink, covered in feathers, rhinestones & glitter. ha.

new phone, school, new piercing (AGAIN!), life etc. just an update i guess.
phone:
got the lg env touch! i used to have the voyager. the *idea* was cool. (touch screen on the outside, qwerty keyboard on the inside), but i had soooo many problems with it, ugh! the damn thing broke 5 TIMES in just over a year! FIVE TIMES! and i was always super careful with the thing. arg. anyway, i just upgraded and got the env touch. it's so cool. it looks similar to the voyager, but it's so much better! threaded texting, apps, better mp3 player, favorites. and the internet is so fast!

i love the wallpaper i bought =] and don't you just love my cupcake charm? haha, i'm so obsessed with that thing. it's fallen off so many times & i keep finding creative ways to reattach it, lol. and i of course got a bright pink case for it (not pictured). it's one of those silicone ones that covers up the keyboard & it's kind of annoying to text on.
school:
so, i finished my night class. i was from 6-10 pm, monday & wednesday. the class itself was cool, it was just the hours! on those days, i was up fro school at 6 am, class 'til 12:30, work 'til 5pm, then class from 6-10pm. i was sooo exhausted, omgosh. and i'd get home at 10:30, fall asleep at about 12, then up again at 6. it was rough. but thank God it's over! my grade isn't as good as i wanted it to be (b-), but it's ok. i was kinda bummed. it was a computer class, we learned all about MS Office. Holy crap that stuff is hard! lol, especially MS Access and all the functions on Excel. i'm still in my morning Bio class, and honestly, it's not going so well. but i really am trying! i have 2 more weeks, please pray that i pass!

i don't even know what it's called, haha. i got my belly button repierced almost 2 weeks ago, and then last friday, i went with my friend & her sister while they got pierced. my friend Heather got a monroe, which looks super cute on her. and her sister Sam, got her lip done, on the side. it's really cute too! i was kind of considering getting my daith or rook done, but i saw a piercer there that had his ear pierced and i was like "omg, that's so cool!" so, my friend talked me into it, and here it is:
different, huh? i'm into different things as of late. but i have to be careful cuz i work in an office. boooo! but, it's cool. i've only seen one other person with it, and you can barely see it cuz i always wear my hair down. ps; please excuse my need for a fill in =]
life:
so, i've pretty much decided that i'm moving to Atlanta (which reminds me, i still need to blog about & post pics of my vacation!) in a few years. i can't stand Michigan, and i love it there! i see no reason to stay here. except for now; the only reason i'm here is because of my grandparents! i love them so, so much, but when they're gone, i am OUT OF HERE. not getting along so great with everyone else in my family. whatever. my grandparents have been absolutely amazing since my mom passed away. i can't ask for a more supportive set of g'rents. i was always pretty close with them, but i'm so much more now. my mom was the 2nd daughter the lost, and as much as they're hurting, they're biggest concern is me & it's so selfless of them. they are the best, and sooo adorable. they've been married for 64 years (!!!). ikr? lol. people now barely stay married for that many days. ha. they're such an old married couple. the "bickering", the looks they give each other, omg, it's hilarious. they should have a reality show.

today was so boring y'all. but last night... not so much.
i'll just say it started off with a half a pint of Captain Morgan [♥] with a bottle of diet coke [more ♥]. and well, it was just a good night. yes ma'ams.
didn't do a whole lot today. slept in which felt GREAT because my class schedule is GRUELING. i spend 23 hours a week in class & i still work. it's a mess. can't wait until this semester is OVER! ah. anyway, after i slept for like, ever, i decided i wanted some wing dings & to my shock & horror, there was no flour! so i got creative & had to use pancake mix. ha. turned out pretty good actually, nice & crispy. so, it was all good. then i took my granny errand shopping. came back & took another nap. alcohol induced sleep is the fucking best, i swear.

wet seal mini haul [yesss]
so, i bought a dress from them online & it was too much of a hassle to return it via mail, so i just returned it in store. and they don't give cash refunds, so i just exchanged it for some jewelry. here's what i got:

i've been seeing these all around, idk what it is with owls, but it seems to be hot for this summer.

and i also got these silver dangly ones
they look better NOT laying down on a flat surface, lol.
i love this necklace
i don't wear a lot of gold, but i thought all the charms on it were super cute.
and this is BY FAR my favorite thing that i got that day:
i've been wanting one of these HUGE rings for the longest, i'm so happy i found it. but when i got home, i showed my aunt & she took it off my hand to get a better look at it, dropped it & it broke in two pieces! omggg, i was distraught, but she told me she'd replace it. so, i'm gonna get a new one monday. i hope they have 1 left in my size or i'm gonna be a sad, sad girl =[

Lady Gaga [closet raid #3]
okay, seriously. who else but her could pull off this...
yes, she has on a pink rubber pencil skirt & a black pvc bra. and on top of that, this picture was taken in January in London. doesn't her body look sick in it? ah, i love it.
Then there was this bubble dress. now usually a bubble dress is one of those dresses where it's like, poofy on the bottom because the lower part of the dress is folded under. idk how to explain it [lol], but you ladies know what i meant. but this is lady gaga's interpretation of a bubble dress:
it's LITERALLY covered in bubbles.
and when i saw this, i realized how BAMF she is.
it's literally a HAIR BOW. haha. i love it, i love it, I LOVE IT!
i wish i could actually pull this off, but alas...
oh, to live in Hollywood land. you can wear anything. boooo for boring old Detroit/the corporate world.
Anyway, i'm gonna go ahead and call it while the game is still early:

Aside from her delicious style, what about that music of hers?
I love it! it's bordering on the edge of techno without being annoying as hell. I wouldn't go so far as to say she has the greatest voice ever, like I can't imagine her singing a ballad, but something about her voice is great. It goes so well with the beats in her songs. She seems like a TRUE artist & there aren't many of those now. I also love her blatant honesty. In magazine interviews, she claims all she wanted for Valentine's Day was "carbs & sex", and while I don't agree with this, she admits to "starving" herself to stay skinny. Boooo. I hope teenage girls don't follow that, but I hope they pay attention to her individuality & that she's not a total cookie cutter.
I hope she keeps up the good work && has many, MANY more hits. I love to dance in my room to her songs, ha. she gets me so pumped for like, everything.
p.s., has anyone ever noticed that she looks just like Amy Winehouse, minus the crackheaded-ness?

The bow headband to end ALL bow headbands.
I nearly fainted when i saw this. I was casually walking through Claires with my aunt, planning on not buying anything cuz i'm poor as balls & suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, i saw it there, calling my name... "paiiiiige", it whispered,"PAIIIIIGEEEE, come get me", so i turned. and what do i see? a silver headband with a metal bow, encrusted in rhinestones. Lord help me!
It was the most beautiful sight. I couldn't stop "omg-ing" in the store. & i usually never try on headbands cuz who the hell knows who tried it on before & what they have, but i had to try this one on. omg. it was beautiful.
I have a serious addiction to headbands. I have probably almost 30. it's so tragic. but this is my far, my favorite. I also have a thing for bows, so it just made my life.

her style is crazy. in a GOOD way! i love it. i love she isn't afraid to experiment. with crazy colors, patterns, and let's not forget that infamous hair! she wasn't the first person to get a bob, obviously, but she clearly started that trend last year. all of a sudden girls who couldn't go without their extensions were chopping it all off for the rihanna bob. i also love how she's tatted. her's are actually really cute & not like these bullshit tattoos i see on these classy (ha) women around detroit. her's are well placed, nicely drawn & seem to have meaning.
