today was a good day =]

guess what i did today?

got pierced. AGAIN! haha, i'm seriously addicted. this time i got an industrial. hurt like a bitch, but not NEARLY as much as my rook.

and then, on my way home, i heard a contest on the radio anouncing the first 10 people to call, would get a free membership to a well known gym chain around here (it's called powerhouse). and guess who won?!?!

today was an awesome, awesome day.

and later, i'm going to the midnight viewing of "Brothers" with Jake Gylenhaal, Tobey McGuire (i can't believe how thin he got for this role! such a committed actor!), and Natalie Portman. it looks really good.

Microdermal Piercings

i'm thinking of getting one of these. i think they're so cool! and different. the pic is posted is Jonna Mannion from the current season of the Real World. btw, how effing pretty is she? i have a girl crush on her, haha. She has the prettiest eyes. Anyway, see her "ring"? it's a piercing! it has an anchor under her skin and then just the ball is visible. i think she also has one on her chest and her sides/hip. Also, the singer Monica has one kind of next to her eye. i like that placement too. do any of guys have an anchor piercing or know someone who does?

i got pierced AGAIN.

i am completely out of control.

i got my rook done this time. i love piercings. =]

however, this is THE MOST painful piercing i have ever gotten, omg. but i like it. i like being different i guess, but not different to the point where people think i'm weird, haha.

i've just kind of learned to be myself & i love me. i feel so comfy in my own skin these days. la la lovely <3

new phone, school, new piercing (AGAIN!), life etc. just an update i guess.

phone:
got the lg env touch! i used to have the voyager. the *idea* was cool. (touch screen on the outside, qwerty keyboard on the inside), but i had soooo many problems with it, ugh! the damn thing broke 5 TIMES in just over a year! FIVE TIMES! and i was always super careful with the thing. arg. anyway, i just upgraded and got the env touch. it's so cool. it looks similar to the voyager, but it's so much better! threaded texting, apps, better mp3 player, favorites. and the internet is so fast!

i love the wallpaper i bought =] and don't you just love my cupcake charm? haha, i'm so obsessed with that thing. it's fallen off so many times & i keep finding creative ways to reattach it, lol. and i of course got a bright pink case for it (not pictured). it's one of those silicone ones that covers up the keyboard & it's kind of annoying to text on.

school:
so, i finished my night class. i was from 6-10 pm, monday & wednesday. the class itself was cool, it was just the hours! on those days, i was up fro school at 6 am, class 'til 12:30, work 'til 5pm, then class from 6-10pm. i was sooo exhausted, omgosh. and i'd get home at 10:30, fall asleep at about 12, then up again at 6. it was rough. but thank God it's over! my grade isn't as good as i wanted it to be (b-), but it's ok. i was kinda bummed. it was a computer class, we learned all about MS Office. Holy crap that stuff is hard! lol, especially MS Access and all the functions on Excel. i'm still in my morning Bio class, and honestly, it's not going so well. but i really am trying! i have 2 more weeks, please pray that i pass!

new piercing:
i don't even know what it's called, haha. i got my belly button repierced almost 2 weeks ago, and then last friday, i went with my friend & her sister while they got pierced. my friend Heather got a monroe, which looks super cute on her. and her sister Sam, got her lip done, on the side. it's really cute too! i was kind of considering getting my daith or rook done, but i saw a piercer there that had his ear pierced and i was like "omg, that's so cool!" so, my friend talked me into it, and here it is:


different, huh? i'm into different things as of late. but i have to be careful cuz i work in an office. boooo! but, it's cool. i've only seen one other person with it, and you can barely see it cuz i always wear my hair down. ps; please excuse my need for a fill in =]

life:
so, i've pretty much decided that i'm moving to Atlanta (which reminds me, i still need to blog about & post pics of my vacation!) in a few years. i can't stand Michigan, and i love it there! i see no reason to stay here. except for now; the only reason i'm here is because of my grandparents! i love them so, so much, but when they're gone, i am OUT OF HERE. not getting along so great with everyone else in my family. whatever. my grandparents have been absolutely amazing since my mom passed away. i can't ask for a more supportive set of g'rents. i was always pretty close with them, but i'm so much more now. my mom was the 2nd daughter the lost, and as much as they're hurting, they're biggest concern is me & it's so selfless of them. they are the best, and sooo adorable. they've been married for 64 years (!!!). ikr? lol. people now barely stay married for that many days. ha. they're such an old married couple. the "bickering", the looks they give each other, omg, it's hilarious. they should have a reality show.

must haves [for the girls]

so, here's a list of 5 things i think every girl should have to bring out her inner diva.

1. some really good smelling lip gloss

i love these. i got them at victoria's secret. the lighter one is "slice of cake" & it smells like vanilla cake with yummy frosting. and the pink one is "i want candy". sometimes when i'm bored i put it on just to smell it. ha. it makes me happy. and well, who doesn't like well-glossed lips?

2. a bright, semi-crazy nail color.

 

this is some cheap junk i got at the beauty supply store. you get 3 for $1 (no lie). it chips like crazy and you have to apply 3 or 4 coats for it to look decent. lol, but i really liked the color. in case you wanna know, it's "santa fe" by missi. eh, what can you expect for 33 cents? ps, sorry i'm terrible at polishing nails. it's all on my skin & ish. pardon my sloppiness... it'll come off in the shower tomorrow.

3. a secret piercing

this is my tragus piercing. it's awesome. i like it cuz it's visible, but not TOO visible. i work at an insurance company, so obviously i can't walk in there with a tongue ring & septum piercing, right? but, my favorite piercing was my belly button. i loved it. i always felt like i had a little secret that no on really knew about it. i always kept cute, sparkly, dangly jewelry in it. but unfortunately, my body rejected it. but i'm gonna get it redone soon i think. it's gonna be my reward after i lose some more weight.

4. a special piece of jewelry

i got this tiffany bracelet for my 18th birthday. i'm 21 now. i ALWAYS have it on. the only time i've taken it off is to clean it and for when my clumsy ass broke it, ha. when i say "special", that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be expensive, because this wasn't that expensive. it's from tiffany & co., yes, but it's silver, it was less than $200. i just think it's really cute. and it reminds me of my mommy everytime i look at it.

& last but not least...

5. some fierce heels!

what really needs to be said about heels? they make you feel cute, taller, flirty & all around more fierce. not to mention they make it look like you spent hours in the gym on your legs cuz when you wear them, your muscles have to flex. i got these from DSW. they're BCBG Girls and they actually came in my size! it's so hard to find shoes to fit my feet. i wear a size 10 or 10.5 or 11. yeah, yeah. don't make fun. but when i find a pair of cute heels that fit & they don't kill my feet & they don't cost a million dollars, i must get them!
